The Bristol Expo is a business exposition planned in the city of Bristol to be held on February 25, 2017. Though it is not the first expo to be held in Bristol, it is unique in a number of ways.

  • It is an exposition aimed at small to medium predominantly Afro-Caribbean owned businesses and those that provide support services to them.
  • It is an exposition that is offering exposure and networking to businesses that are underrepresented and underexposed, both in the city and nationally.
  • The exposition is good value for money.

Location and Venue

Bristol is a very diverse and mixed city with a large Caribbean community, it is described as eclectic and cosmopolitan. The Caribbean community often complains of feeling left out of ‘the happenings’ or travel to London to participate. One of the main reasons for this event is to reverse this trend and put Bristol in the limelight.

The venue is The Trinity Centre, Bristol. This is a multi-use event space that is close to the heart of the community. It is a converted church with beautiful architecture, features a garden large garden space and parking. It is centrally located and easily accessed by local transport links. Further information on the venue can be viewed at www.trinitybristol.org.uk

Our hosts for the day will be two radio and television personalities, broadcasting team Sherrie Eugene-Hart and Patrick Hart. They are a husband and wife team who are taking the food world by storm as they launch their Carib-Asian Cookery Book following the success of the Carib-AsianCookeryShow.

What started off as a fun pilot video, experimenting with their Caribbean and Asian heritage food inspired by their mums, ended up as a hit series on the TV as millions tuned in around the country to be entertained by this Black British and Anglo Indian double act cooking fusion food and exchanging some awkward moments too as husbands and wife’s do.

They are both well respected and popular in the city and are often engaged in events that cater to your target market. They have a large audience and attract a crowd wherever they go.

We would like to offer your company a stall and promotional opportunities at this event. The event will be widely promoted on radio and print where your logo would appear. You would also be mentioned in interviews to promote the event. We are offering you this package at a cost of £1000.00 to you.

We believe that this event will be a resounding success, especially with it being the first one of its kind to be held in Bristol. There is already quite a bit of interest from the local community. We would love to have you on board for the Bristol expo as we believe this could help to build a successful business relationship for this and other future events.

The exposition itself will consist of 50-55 stalls which will include products from a wide range. These include; Health & Beauty, Nutrition, Writing & Publishing, Art, Music, Fashion, Film Making, Real Estate, Television, IT Services, Banking, Marketing, Legal Services, Personnel Services among others.

There will also be an allocation of stalls representing Local Charities, The NHS, in particular, Blood & Organ Donation & Diabetes Services, The Emergency Services and a Children & Young People Charity. We are including the above entities as our community needs to be aware of their presence, roles and importance to us.
The event is expected to attract over 400 attendees.

The clientele that will be attracted is interested in your products and services. We also believe that your involvement in an event of this nature will not only boost your presence but will add credence to your commitment and involvement in a community that is your largest client base here in the UK, thus positively affecting your profit margin.

The opportunity for promotion of your company could be great as we are interested in you putting your mark on and showing your presence at this event.
